I asked how to explain “hugot” to foreigners and this response was so unexpected. lol

“We should have more hugot posts,” I said to Veems CEO, Iddo Goren.

Iddo is from Israel and although he has visited the country many times, the only Tagalog he knows are: kuya, salamat, and magandang umaga (which he always heard as “magandang obama”).

“What is hugot?” he asked in confusion.

“Ummm..” I started.

What is it exactly???? So, I asked the people from the anonymous public chat on Veems. And here’s one of the answers:

I was thoroughly amused! I never thought of it that way. So, how will you explain it to a foreigner? 🙂 We’d love to hear your vesion!
